With just a few days to go before the kick-off public event (Monday evening, 8pm Teac Jack) at this year's international 'Ireland Writing Retreat,' a project initiated by the Celtic Center for the Imagination, excitement and anticipation is mounting.
Participants arriving from so many diverse places and with so many different backgrounds to the idyllic west Donegal Gaeltacht on the famous 'Wild Atlantic Way' is sure to create a most stimulating, enjoyable and relaxing week ahead.
A full schedule of practical, hands-on writing classes from published authors is already planned, plus an excursion by boat to Gola Island, an intriguing Celtic legend coastal walk, fine music concerts and a traditional lively Irish ceildhe dance.
